Description
La Conner, Washington is a peaceful waterfront village along the Swinomish Channel in Washington State (USA). The channel provides salt-water access to Puget Sound, with Skagit Bay to the north and Padilla Bay to the south. The channel is used by fishing boats, tugs, recreational craft, and shallow-draft freight vessels.
La Conner is a historic village located between Seattle, Washington and Vancouver Canada. The La Conner region hosts a world-famous tulip festival, as well as other tourism activities. This image is based on an original photograph I took, with painterly effects applied with Topaz Studio.

This is great work Toni. We share the same love for maritime images (I’m prior Navy & retired Coast Guard) ~ Tony

Thanks so much for your comment, Anthony! Yes, I love water of all types, lakes, oceans, ponds, on both U.S.coasts and northern/southern hemisphere. I imagine you explored a lot of water forms in your career!
