This colorful image is a painterly interpretation of an old tender at the Lopez Island Marina. I love nautical images, and this one caught my eye with the bumpers on the side and the buoy inside the boat, plus the worn but beautiful wood. I suspect this tender did a lot of tending, taking people to and from a larger boat many times, but who knows. I think every boat has a story to tell, though, and I enjoyed seeing the impact of painterly effects.
