Description
This amazing hydrangea shrub was bursting with blue in the summer. This wasn't just a mixture of sky blue or blue and pink, like some hydrangesas, but brilliant blues, like royal blue and various related hues. Apparently, some parts of the plant have been shielded enough from the cold and other elements to hold onto that blue in late December. The plant was pretty enough in its winter state of tans, taupes, and browns, but it was delightful discovering some stlil-blue blooms.
