Two whistler swans silently swim in a golden sunset in Juanita on Lake Washington. Some tundra swans usually migrate to the Seattle area each winter, with about a dozen or more hanging out in the protected wetlands in Juanita, near Kirkland. This image is based on an original photograph taken during the golden hour, and it has digital watercolor-like effects.

Ocean, lakes, and ponds have a deep influence on my work but I also love people, flowers, bridges, architecture, and about anything.
