Artist's Description
The sun may be setting but fishermen are still busy on the Saint Simons Georgia Pier, hoping to catch another seabass, redfish, drum, or other fish to add to the day's catch. On other parts of the pier, people are crabbing or washing their fish.
I visited this pier at least once a summer as a kid, and it was great to see it again recently. It used to look so huge but it's still quite the nice pier. I used to love to watch the fishermen and women, and also just stare down at the ocean to what sealife might float underneath or jump nearby.
Even though this scene is in Georgia, it's classic for fishing piers in many locations. Maybe it will appeal to you if you love fishing or just visiting the water. This work is protected by copyright, but the Fine Art America logo will not appear on the purchased item. Thank you.
About Sea Change Vibes
I use the name Sea Change Vibes for my photography and design work because I love the ever-changing mood, colors, and tides of the sea. Ocean, lakes, and ponds have a deep influence on my work but I also love people, flowers, bridges, architecture, and about anything. Imagery can express so many emotions and thoughts across borders and languages. My love of photography helps me see the world in a different light, such as waiting for that moment when a duck stretches her wing or a musician stands on one foot. I wind up paying more attention to people and nature and other aspects of the world that are easily missed in our busy society. I love capturing that perfect photo but I also enjoy digitally altered photos, such as painterly styles,...
