In northwestern Washington state near Mount Vernon, there are some amazing daffodil and tulip fields. Some of the nation's largest bulb suppliers have farms and display fields here. The daffodils are gorgeous against the backdrop of farms,trees, and the snow-capped Cascade mountains. In this image, you can even see a glimpse of Mount Baker, a volcanic glacial peak, I applied a "stained glass" effect to this image so it looks almost like a stained glass panel. The image is a flat print, but it has swirls almost like glass panels.
I use the name Sea Change Vibes for my photography and design work because I love the ever-changing mood, colors, and tides of the sea. Ocean, lakes, and ponds have a deep influence on my work but I also love people, flowers, bridges, architecture, and about anything. Imagery can express so many emotions and thoughts across borders and languages. My love of photography helps me see the world in a different light, such as waiting for that moment when a duck stretches her wing or a musician stands on one foot. I wind up paying more attention to people and nature and other aspects of the world that are easily missed in our busy society.
