This image has been on a journey. It started as a photo, which I spun into a fractal. Then I applied a mandala, kaleidoscope-like filter to the image, which produced an intricate lacey "petals" in the mandala. with a regal royal blue and gold border pattern. I love finding all the organic-like and symbolic, transgressive images in fractals. Spinning them into mandalas introduces even more shapes.
