Photographer in Red with Driftwood Baby Onesie

I loved how this photographer's red jacket and red bag stood out against the stark driftwood and skyline of Skagit Bay in Mount Vernon, Washington.

If you like snow geese, harrier hawks, tundra geese, dunlins, ducks, great blue herons, eagles, and other birds, this is an amazing area. There's a tree in this preserve with a family of nesting eagles, and there's even a spot called "EagleTree" just a few miles away. Eagles flock to the Skagit River during wintertime, and this is where one of its creeks empties into Skagit Bay, and ultimately flows through Deceptoin Pass into the Pacific Ocean at large. This is one of multiple selective color photographs of photographers and birders, who showed up wearing red at the same time. The red in this image is isolaed, while the other colors are desaturated. I use the name Sea Change Vibes for my photography and design work because I love the ever-changing mood, colors, and tides of the sea. Ocean, lakes, and ponds have a deep influence on my work but I also love people, flowers, bridges, architecture, and about anything. Imagery can express so many emotions and thoughts across borders and languages. My love of photography helps me see the world in a different light, such as waiting for that moment when a duck stretches her wing or a musician stands on one foot.
