Peonies are such an over-the-top flower, with their robust structure, gorgeous petals, and lovely scent. What an amazing flower that sometimes gets overlooked for the ever classic rose? To me, it's hard to be more classic or romantic than peonies. This image is based on an original photograph in a botanical garden, and I applied impressionistic effects to it. This image would make a nice Mother's Day or Get Well card.
