Orvieto is a beautiful and historic town in the Province of Terni, in southwestern Umbria, with amazing Etruscan and Italian history.
If you are traveling beween Rome and Tuscany, Orvieto is worth a stop. The historic part of the city is reachable by funicular, and has an amazing view of the Umbrian hillside.
