Even though the wood is weathered and roof is sagging, you get a sense that people lived life here. You wonder about the meals cooked, the children raised, and the pets loved. People might have gathered around the warm fire in the evening or the wood stove in the morning. You know this house has many stories to tell, and although no one lives here now, there's something hauntingly beautiful about it.
