I love that cherry trees start to flower tight when it seems like winter won't end and spring might not happen. In Washington state, in the Pacific Northwest, we get beautiful blooming cherry trees, and amazing varieties of cherries. It's not just the other Washington, Washington D.C.. that gets the cherries. I love how it looks like the blossoms are surrounded in a pink cloud, when you look up through the branches. This is an original photo with digital effects applied, and it's part of a series of multiple cherry tree images.
