This composite fractal/photo manipulation shows a world of fantasia, where two colorful worlds almost connect. Or as the title suggests, a once-connected world that experienced a fissure and is trying to repair. This seems particularly symbolic of our times collectively or perhaps even the relationship of a friend or spouse. Repair isn't an easy process, and is still a work-in-progress. This abstract also slightly reminds me of the dendrites and axons that reach across our brain synapses, Fractals have some distinct shapes that appear as you navigate through them, but they also are reminiscent of so many organic shapes, both in our earth, within our bodies, and in our skies.
